So saw a post about how it is never late for an apology and this is my story.
So most of you don’t know I was bullied in Year 7 and my best friend stood by and didn’t say anything, we stayed friends but we never talked about.
One day, 4 years later, while we are talking about primary school and stuff, then I say that Year 7 was the worst year for me.
She then just says, “I am sorry, for what happened”.
I tell her that it is fine and that I put it behind me long ago but the fact that after all these years, she said sorry, I don’t it just kind of really let me put it behind me even more.
Saying sorry can change someones life whether you hurt them yesterday or five years ago, it can change something inside of someone and make them feel okay.
What I am trying to say is just say Sorry, it can make a difference.
